Japanese ice cream: where to find it?

So I used to live in New Mexico, and about 3 years ago I had this ice cream at a sushi bar and now I can’t find it ANYWHERE in Phoenix.

It looks like a waffle… the waffle part is made out of the same stuff as a cake cone, but it’s filled with ice cream and chocolate or strawberry. They come individually wrapped like popcicles.

I’ve lived in Phoenix for about a year and I’ve tried Trader Joe’s (The one on 20th and Camelback, and the one on Lincoln and Scottsdale Road) the Whole Foods in Tempe and in Phoenix, and Lee Lee’s in Chandler. I’m more than willing to drive where ever I need to go to find it.

I even tried to order it online, but all of the websites are in Japanese, and I sadly don’t speak it.

Even if you don’t know where to find it, if you know the actual name of it, that would be appreciated too. Thanks!

I think it is ‘Monaka ice cream’ or ‘Monaka’ in short.
Why don’t you look for a Japanese or Asian grocery store?
I don’t know if they have it or not, but I found a store
called ‘New Tokyo Food Market’ on the internet.
