Japanese take to school lunches?
Hi
The tuckshop at my school is really unhealthy and I dont really like any of the food.
So I would like some ideas japanese lunches that i can make at home and take to school?
I live near 2 japanese grocery shops, so what can I make at home and leave in my bag for about 3 hours and eat at lunch.
Below is a video showing you how to prepare a typical Japanese lunch box.
I like to have hot food, therefore, I bought a Zojirushi therma bento box (similar to the one in below video). It keeps warm for 6 hours. I put braised food or stir fried dishes in the container for soup, therefore, I have hot meat and rice while boiled vegetables and fruit which are in room temp. for lunch.
